Kecskemét Centre of Vocational Training (KSZC)

KSZC was founded by 10 schools on 1st July 2015. In the member schools different professions are taught from the following branches: health care, social sciences, pedagogy, fine and applied arts, building engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical industry and electronics, telecommunication, IT, construction industry, light industry, food processing, typography, transportation, vehicle engineering, economics, management, commerce, tourism, hospitality, optics, hairdressing and cosmetics, sport, law enforcement and civil service, transportation and logistics,

Our mission:

• to ensure advanced, general knowledge to our students
• to prepare the students to get the appropriate qualifications, which are necessary in the labour market
• to integrate the social underprivileged students
• to support talented students
• to help by realization of dual education
• to prepare for lifelong learning

Some statistical data:

• we have more than 6000 students in 10 schools
• we have 650 workers, from whom 520 teachers
• territory of 46000 m²  for education
• more than 1200 new students every year on the 9th grade
• in 24 secondary technical branches there are classes preparing for professional school leaving exam
• students can choose from 200 professions
• 1000 students have contract for students with an economic organisation
• 572 students get professional scholarship
• Experience in education is more than 100 years old.

Our tasks:

• VET provided within and outside the school system for full−time, correspondence and evening (part time students)
• preparation for the school leaving exam, bilingual education (English and German language)
• secondary technical school for graduated VET students (2 years)
• catching−up programmes for students, who have no primary school qualification in the framework of BRIDGE programme
• to organize dual education and cooperation with economic organisations
• hostel for the students from the countryside
• VET education for SEN students
• adult training in the framework of courses in accordance with the demands in the labour market
